Panthers Without Matthew Tkachuk for Game 7 against the Devils
Matthew Tkachuk will be unable to help his Panthers in the highly anticipated Game 7 between Florida and New Jersey

They've had two chances to close out this series and now it might be to little to late for the Florida Panthers. News came today that Florida star Matthew Tkachuk will be out of the lineup for the Game 7 against the New Jersey Devils.
While the exact injury was not reported, it has to be a serious one when you take in the fact Tkachuk played through a broken sternum before the Panthers were eliminated last postseason. The American winger has been one of the Panthers top players this series, alongside veteran Corey Perry. He has 7 points through 6 games, including two point performances in his last two games before being injured.
For Florida, losing a guy that is so influential to their scoring prowess hurts for a game where you'll need a player like Tkachuk. They already have not got the depth scoring from their forwards in this series and losing one of their guys that was actually producing is an issue. As an example of their scoring problems, just one forward outside the top two lines has more than one goal these playoffs, that being Sam Bennett.
Sergei Bobrovsky will somehow be relied on even more than he already has with this big injury and the Panthers will need him to continue his performances for at least one more game if they want to continue their hunt for the Stanley Cup
