Re: Restoring America's Team: A Dallas Cowboys Story

Dallas came in as the number 1 offense in the league. They wouldn't disappoint as they put up 41 points on a struggling Cardinals team and locked up their number 1 seed for the playoffs. The defense came in and did their part as well forcing 2 INT, and sacking Murray 3 times.

Dak Prescott on the win "anytime you can come out and dominate a team like we did today is great. To do it and secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs is even better. We look to carry this momentum moving forward and look towards the ultimate goal of the Super Bowl."

Next up Dallas heads to the Linc where they will look to rest their starters and give the back up most of the reps.

NFC/AFC Air and Ground Players of the Week:

We have a chance for the sack record to be beat as their are 3 players with in 3.5 sacks or less from obtaining it. Dak will not break the single season record for passing yards as he is more than likely going to sit the final game.

Standings After Week 17:

As the NFC works out its final seeding in Week 18. There is much to play for as only 4 teams have locked in a playoff berth with the final 3 spots left to feel. A lot can happen in the final week and it is bound to be an exciting week.

Even with the Steelers starting a win streak it is safe to say they will be granted the number 1 overall pick. There is still a lot that has yet to be decided in the final game for pick placement for the upcoming draft.

After 17 weeks of play this is where we currently stand as far as seeding goes in the Playoffs.

We have a nasty showdown at the Linc in store as the Dallas Cowboy will renew an ugly rivalry with the Eagles. The Eagles are the final game standing in Dallas way of sweeping the NFC East. While the Cowboys have already been named the beast of the east, it is still good to get that elusive sweep of the division. Dallas will rest their starters giving them technically a second bye as this game has no meaning to them other than pride.

Dallas headed into the Linc looking to rest it starters as they would allow them to play one drive to keep them in sync. In sync they were as they marched down the field to score on the opening drive. Dallas back ups would prove to give the Eagles fits as they were able to score 41 points on the Eagles. Copper Rush looked as sharp as any backup QB could completing 12 of 19 for 246 yards and 3 touchdown passes. The defense would play their starters up till halftime. The eagle would score all their points in the second half against a rookie Secondary for Dallas. Dallas would however get 4 takeaways in the finale.

McCarthy had this to say "all the backups played extremely well and proved what a special team we have. It really rings the bell for next man up when things like this happen. We are thankful to have played so well all year and get the first round bye. Now we are 3 wins from immortality. This is something we have worked hard for and refuse to let slip through our fingers."

Re: Restoring America's Team: A Dallas Cowboys Story

NFC/AFC Air and Ground Players of the Week:

Dak Prescott finishes first in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. We have to assume that Prescott is the front runner for MVP with Tom Brady close on his heels. Nick Chubb wins the rushing title. While the sack record wasn't broke we have to give it up to these 3 on one hell of a year.

Draft Order as of Now:

Playoff Seeding:

Who will have what it takes to make it to Super Bowl 56. The field is set and every team can make a run for the Super Bowl. Will the Cowboys live up to being the best offensive team all season? Will Brady repeat? Can the Bengals be a real contender as they have shown to be all year? one thing is certain and that's things are about to heat up!
