FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders

Hi guys,

I REALLY don't want to get FIFA 23 because who needs to spend the money, so I'm hoping to continue career modes on 22 for the next year. However, I am currently finding the harder legendary sliders way too easy. Granted, I have started my new career with a decent Spurs side so I am expecting fairly good results semi-consistently. However, after 7 games in the league I am unbeaten (including against Arsenal & Chelsea) with 33 goals scored and 7 conceded. That's averaging nearly a 5-1 victory every game which is getting stupid. I don't know whether I just suck up ultimate and play on that, or turn down my half lengths from 10 to say 6 whilst keeping the harder sliders on? Any ideas of how to make things more challenging would be appreciated. The only other change I have not made is going fully manual, currently I use the semi assisted options etc, so this is something I could do. I'm trying to keep my CM as realistic as possible but with such crazy results it is difficult.

I have had the same problem myself. I have never liked FUMA because it feels too inconsistent. But I recently decided to swap passing, through balls an lob balls to manual, and it has made the game a lot more enjoyable (at times more frustrating also.) I get much more realistic scorelines and I have to take my time to build my attack. I also went down from legendary to world class and it plays really great. You should give it a try.

I struggled with this for a long time but honestly think the only solution is going manual. I have everything manual except shooting (the goals are too small to aim at imo!) and I now play on World Class.

Initially I used the trainer that shows direction and power of pass. I’ve recently switched that off and I’m winning most games now, so need to up it to Leg really.

Manual passing can be v frustrating but if you’re looking for fifa to provide a challenge it’s the only way forward imo.

Interested in going FUMA, do you guys still adjust sliders or do you reset to default with FUMA settings?

Can't wait to see what you come up with I'm seeing a lot of good stuff that with some tweaks could make this a solid game.

Where and when he said this? I'm really sad to read "most part". I can only hope that this means at least 90% fixed. Even though it doesn't matter if it's even 99% fixed. That 1% moment will be powerful enough to destroy the fun and all the work, as always.

By the way, since the new thread isn't available yet, I'm gonna ask here. Are you already playing the trial? Are manual crosses properly working now? Or still assisted?

Haven’t been on here for a while. I had the privilege of playing the Beta and the biggest for me was the non-existent midfield. I could make 2-3 passes and completely bypass the CPU midfield, and vice versa, it was as if the CPU was completely 100% passing completion. Would be nice to know if the AI is any different compared to the Beta gameplay as that’s what disappointed everybody in the Beta forums.

I’m out in Arkansas for work, so won’t get my hands on FIFA 23 until Thursday when I return sadly.
