Lower it and players will hold their shape more and not make aggressive runs into more dangerous forward positions.

Basically if you increase it, you’ll see more attacking, end to end football. If you decrease it, you’ll see more conservative, possession based football.

You want to find a healthy balance between the two.

Hahah, yeah it will happen unfortunately... Been trying for years to eliminate broken toes, but they seem scripted into the game.

Was this at 90/18? Still trying to figure out the exact number for Severity, perhaps try 15 and see if it reduces the broken toes / adds variety for you.
