I see you play ECU soon. I don't care about them, even though i live in the area so go ahead and tear them up.

Domination! (By the Terps)

(2-0) University of Maryland Terrapins
at
(2-0) #7 West Virginia University Mountaineers

Morgantown, WV- The Maryland Terrapins came into Morgantown Thursday night on ESPNHD and stomped and tore up the hosting West Virginia Mountaineers. The score was a whopping, terrible 69-7 in the Terps' favor. Rich Rodriguez commented after the game in a press conference, "I don't know what happpened! We simply just stunk. I don't know if we were tired because of the short layoff or what."

The Mountaineers started out by getting the kickoff and moving the ball to around the 40 yard line. Then, quarterback Pat Whitethrew and intercption. The Terps scored a field goal and the Mountaineers got the ball back. Then, running back Steve Slaton fumbled the ball and the Terps tacked on three more points. The game was put away when Pat White threw up a Hail-Mary with time expiring in the 1st half and was intercpeted by the Maryland defense which returned the interception for a touchdown. The Terps cruised on from there.

The Mountaineers may have been caught offgaurd after blowing out Marshall and Kansas State by a combined score of 95-17. The rushing offense was a measely 18 yardds on 23 attempts. That's right, less than a yard per carry. Maeanwhile, Maryland racked up 286 yards on the ground.

The next game is against the East Carolina Pirattes of Conference USA. It will be broadcast on ESPN2HD on Saturday afternoon. Expect West Virginia to win handily, but after this past game, who knows?

Yeah, I bet it is. I lost to one of your ACC counterparts, the Maryland Terrapins too. I'm glad WVU didn't get blown out in this game in real life. Luckily, they dominated the Terps 45-24.

Good rebound win against ECU, but how did you get hammered by Maryland that bad with WVU? Tough loss, looks like you need to run the table to make the National Title game.

I have no idea how I lost so bad to Maryland. I think coming in they were ranked #33 in the country. I kept on turning the ball over and they kept on running the ball. Slaton couldn't run the ball at all, which foiled the whole offense. Things got even worse once I put in my backups.

Yeah, I hope I can run the table. I have to still be Louisville at their place, though, which will be tough. I hope that through some miracle, some other teams can lose so I still have a chance to make it to the title game. At least, I hope I can make it to the BCS.
