Career Update
It's a miracle

Berkeley, CA - Despite having a losing season the Golden Bears keep Coach Mumford on as their head man. "Honestly, I'm just as shocked as you are but I shouldn't be. We've been able to put alot of talent on the field but it hasn't translated into wins. This lead me to believe that I'd be looking for work. I'd like to thank the Athletic Director for giving me just a little more time. I think a breakthrough is right around the corner," said Coach following the announcement that he'd be remaining in Berkeley for atleast 2 more seasons.

Re: The "SIM Only" Coaching Career of A.Mumford (NCAA 07)

Career Update
Mumford gets extension

Berkeley, CA - At the end of last season Coach Mumford signed a new 2-year contract to remain the Golden Bears' head coach. To end this season, following a bowl berth, the Athletic Director displayed even more confidence in Mumford extending his deal by 3 years. "Okay, I've been given more time. Now, we need to find a way to not lose those 1 or 2 games per season that we should be winning and I think we'll be okay," was Coach's response during the press conference. This should be all Coach needs to turn this thing all the way around. He's done a fair job of building a program thus far. Way to go Coach!

Career Update
Mumford's career put on hold

Berkeley, CA - "Due to recent develops I'm without a system so, ya know, I need to step away from the game and put things into perspective," were Coach's only words when asked why the sudden decision.
