Ultimately Creighton just had a little bit too much offense for Oregon. Altman had a great gameplan to slow the tempo and mess up the Bluejays rhythm. It almost worked.

Izzo needs to change his scheduling philosophy for the non conference, he likes scheduling many challenging games like Duke, Arizona, and Baylor all before conference play starts. Thats all fine because your SOS matters to the committee but you also have to win those games to improve your NET ranking. That helps improve your seeding so you avoid playing the 1 or 2 seed in the Round of 32.
