MLBucks system, Some frequent crashes, slow loading times.

A solid game which is free to play, hard to not recommend to pass the time during the Winter blues.

The crux of this free to play game from Major League Baseball is that you participate in an authentic home run derby from the past three years. Everything about that concept works great within this game. The menus are slick, the graphics are pretty — especially the stadiums — and the ball physics work well.

My biggest gripe with this game is the free to play model basically means free to try, use MLBucks to play. If you want every character and all of the options you are 100% going to have to either put an insane amount of time into the game or you are going to have to pay money.

There’s a lot about this game that I consider well done, but the MLBucks heavy micro transaction dependent nature of the game precludes me from giving it a strong recommendation.
