i did some reading and most articles say you do get VC for completing objectives in MyRise but after playing through the first portion of the mode where you defend the IC title at the first PLE against Sami Zayn, i still havent gotten any VC.

not sure if its a glitch or if i have to go further into the mode to get VC.

You do not.

To unlock the legends, you will need to play either Universe mode or just quick play.

MyFaction has its own currency, and for playing GM mode you get nothing.
