Looks solid and more competition in the wrestling video game space is a good thing. I hope this is gonna have an eventual console release and not just PC.

It doesn't look bad, but I don't see how Gameplay looks to offer anything of value to the genre. It looks like a cartoon 2K23. Basically grapple, hold direction, press button, watch 2 player animation play out.

Maybe my opinion is tainted by the fact that Visual Concepts redesign is nearly identical to how the old N64 games played, with combo breakers being in the mix. The block acts as reversals like the Aki games, you dodge grabs, you build up meters. Etc. I mean, I'm not sure what the Aki games offer over the new design VC produced.

Now, if this was 2K15 to 2K19, I'd be buying this game in a heartbeat.
