Double Whammy for Impact. Josh Alexander has vacated the World Championship due to a triceps tear that requires surgery. Steve Maclin vs Kushida will now take place to determine the new World Champion at Rebellion on April 16th.

Mickie James is also injured and can not defend the Knockouts World Championship against Jordynne Grace. No word yet on what they will do about that. Sacrifice tonight took a big hit.

I'm stuck in a Joe Hendry Entrance Rabbit Hole on YouTube and I can't figure out how he hasn't been signed with WWE. I get he's under contract and all but dude is talented and it fits what WWE does with the entertainment aspect. The entrance videos he could make on some WWE talent today would be incredible.

Joe needs to be on national TV every week... period.

I still remember Raw1000.....that was 11 years ago!?!?

Raw felt so old even back then, Impact doesn't feel as old in 20 years as Raw did. Then again, 97-05 felt like 20 years.

Huge news coming from Bound for Glory as Impact Wrestling will be bringing back it's iconic name, Total Nonstop Action. The first show with the name change will be Hard to Kill taking place on January 13th, 2024 and taking place at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That is so bizarre. We've officially reached the point of being nostalgic for literally anything lol.

TNA had some decent shows through the years, but I always felt the name itself basically became a joke of a bad idea. A holdover from the Russo WCW 2000 era of trying to be as crass and stupid as possible. Like the Attitude Era minus the good ideas.

Granted, compared to wrestling in 2023, the first few years of TNA was pretty great from an in-ring standpoint. And those Impact Zone crowds could be pretty fun. Being nostalgic for THAT seems pretty reasonable.
