Re: New Japan Pro Wrestling Discussion

I watched the Kenny Omega vs Tama Tonga match from the G1. I love how they keep sowing the seeds of discontent in the Bullet Club. Tonga taking offense to Kenny wearing Elite ring gear. Tonga cutting a promo midway through the match. A grueling match that saw Kenny Omega taking the win.

And as always, Bullet Club is 4...4...4....4 Life (except for AJ Styles).

Yea I haven't watched many full matches but seen gifs on Twitter. And I also like the dissension that they are showing with the Bullet Club. I first noticed during the 2nd Okada/Omega match when Cody came out to try and throw in the towel for Omega. Then it popped up again at the Long Beach show when Omega tried to do the same thing to Cody. I'm interested if the Bucks and Omega break away from Bullet Club or not.

Re: New Japan Pro Wrestling Discussion

Outside of Okada/Omega being the stars they are, Elgin is having a real nice run in the G1. Real underrated, but then again he's already had 2 barnburners with Okada/Omega.

I'm glad Elgin is getting some recognition for his work in the G1. He's been a little under the radar recently, but that should be changing.

Omega-Okada III. They did it AGAIN!

I thought nothing would ever top the Flair-Steamboat trilogy from '89, but this stuff with Omega and Okada is on another level. Best series of matches I've ever seen.

That was something else. The tag titles matches were also excellent.

Haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I signed up for Progress and have been watching that a lot.
