WWE 2K14 tips for beginners

Veterans of the series could you list some tips and answer questions for those of us new this series and how to approach it.

I'm personally looking for game play tips to not just crush the CPU AI, but have matches with ebbs and flows. The last wrestling games I played were No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 on the N64.

Until this series includes computer logic for each individual wrestler, we will have a cap on having consistent works. Matches seem to start off with too many strong moves. I like the Fire Pro model. You can't perform those big moves in the beginning stages of the match until your opponent or worn down.

Learn the reversal system and the timing of reversals. I've had some very satisfying matches by being able to zero in on the timing of reversals. You can really draw out matches by properly using reversals.
