A new era in WWE is upon us, so it makes sense to finally have one thread going forward like we have for AEW Dynamite. An era that many didn't see coming so soon, Triple H and Stephanie are now in control of WWE with a lot of optimism coming off a highly successful SummerSlam. What kind of statement will be made tonight that will shape the new vision of WWE going forward?

Announced for RAW tonight:

- The Mysterios fresh off their win over Judgement Day challenge the Usos for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship.

- A pair of Triple Threat Matches take place to determine the new number one contender. Dolph Ziggler, Chad Gable and Ciampa face off in One Triple Threat Match while Mustafa Ali, The Miz and AJ Styles face off in the second Triple Threat Match.

Wouldn’t mind seeing this change in WWE too. Talent having to just standing in the ring like idiots during a 2-3 video package. Makes zero sense having them come out and then stand there through that stuff

The one thing that makes going to RAW & Smackdown in person so annoying. It needs to stop for sure, now they do video packages during PLE too. It's why I prefer live events over TV, things seem to move faster and the talent have more freedom to do things.

Good start so far. Seeing some different things. The triple threat matches are something fresh. I called AJ and I'm calling Ciampa. I want to see them go at it. I bet they will tear the house down.

Pretty sure that's where it's going.
