For me, if I am playing Franchise, I am playing all 162 and will never use the ability to truncate my season into hi light moments, so if that is the only way Franchise has improved...another wasted year.

I've come to expect little innovation in Franchise in most games...my hope each year is that the AI plays better, and in The Show in particular , I hope the ball physics off the bat are better with more hit variety...even with it's shortcomings, I only just finished last season a month ago.

For franchise, the loss of so many last name sound files (with few being added back with MLB 24) and the lack of Y2Y saves (which resulted in the end of the availability of historic rosters) has been a big loss.

So I guess it's safe to assume RTTS roster management is still garbage and unrealistic?

The series is alive and well and it is a good game. I feel at this point as a franchise player the things I dislike and want changed is not possible without a rewriting of the entire code and a total redo of franchise mode. Because of that and me thinking its not happening anytime soon I have learned to accept what I have and thing the game is playing really well.

I don’t know how you do a review of this game and not mention the graphics. The uniform models that except for being upscaled haven’t really changed in 7 years…that’s…interesting

I spent $137 for MLBTS24 and I'm very well pleased with my purchase, despite that being an all-time high for dollar amount spent on one video game for me personally. Though to be fair I did get the version that has both PS4 and PS5 downloads as well as the Negro League New Era cap. That averages out to a cost of 2.64 cents a week to play until next years game. I'm so pleased in fact, Friday I'm going to drop another $60 on the Nintendo version so that I can play at work. Bossman won't be nearly pleased as I am. Win-win, sticking it to the man and great baseball!

I wish we could still use Boog calling the minor league games. Gellman got a lot of work to do before I can play a game with his commentary on. Too many number 18 at the plate and number 38 pitching for my taste.
