I do still question the pick. It's one thing to draft Penix and with the thought of "We don't plan on drafting this high again". But to give Cousins that big deal and Penix isn't the normal sit and wait type of QB situation. It's not Rodgers/Favre to Love/Rodgers where best case scenario the incumbent starter is good enough to start until contract is up. Penix is going to turn 24, not 21. You don't really want him sitting until he is 28.
4-5 years? He'd be 28-29, I'm not sure that is good resource management.
