I'd been blading for years prior to my knee issue. It's an amazing alternate means to get a workout. I abandoned it for years because it fell out of fashion but I'm glad I circled back around.

You absolutely run into guys who call a lot of ticky tack fouls from time to time, but it's never been worth taking away and-1's from everyone or disallowing everyone from calling their own fouls....

For the record, I was talking about a gym where both the defense called fouls and And-1's didn't fly, meaning a defender could nullify continuation by calling a foul on themselves. It was madness.

My go-to pre-COVID run was a controlled open gym that seemed to be mostly 25 and up, which was a nice little mix. There'd be a few young guns sprinkled in but they fit well.
