Well, here's the deal. I could go out and buy this or I could keep saving up to replace my laptop and ARCA copy that was stolen last month. But I hear you, we had a great time last year.

I just picked this up on the 360, i almost got the P$3 version but decided not to in the end. I only tried the Brooklyn race and I already like it better than 08. The sounds and graphics are much better as well as the AI.

I will give more 360 impressions after I watch the F1 race that I missed on Sunday.

Doing my first on-line race right now...must say it runs smooth as butter, and very competitive so far...report more in a few. I am in the middle of a caution right now

Edit: Had a lot of fun racing 19 laps at "Dega" I finished 4th out of 6th. We were all bunched together, and the two guys decided they didn't like a cleab car and smashed each other. it put me back 4th and finished under caution.

I had really no issues racing, no lag at all, and was able to run a good clean line for the most part on the pro model using the DS3...very encouraging. Now if I only had friends that I trusted on line right now with it, I would be very pleased.

How are the online cautions? Has the bumping and banging under caution been addressed?

Great question Big C, and yes no bumping are anything at all.....it ran very smooth and the cautions were flawless. whats really cool, is that because of the smoothness of it, you have a chance to look around and see people bumping and grining and still be able to navigate the track w/o an automatic crash. 3 cautions in 19 laps, but 2 idiots had no idea what they were doing.

Side note: Two guys crashed in front of me and started spinning and bouncing off the wall, I was able to sprint right between them and stay clean......very cool indeed, brought a smile to my face.

That's good to hear about the non-lag. My brother is going to pick this one up, so I'll have a buddy to run against the AI field with. If it's lag-free, all the better.

Thanks a bunch for taking time away from the game for the impressions, blue. No way I'd be able to do that

First off, sorry to hear about the laptop...had to go buy the wife at CCity, sucks replacing those.

Secondly, who in the hell stole your Arca Copy, thats some crap right there. If they live in Cleveland, I can track them down and beat the crap out of them for you
