I think United are going to have a terrible time this year. That squad needs to be gutted.

Re: 2022-23 English Football Thread

the man utd situation is just a continuation of same disaster upstairs. they have had years to plan these departures and knew before RR came in that this summer was going to be big. sportsbetting3.com having a new setup and people signing players could be an issue. just inexperienced at getting things across the line. gotta be a shock for ten haag.

Mike Dean is now only retired as an on-field referee—he’lol remain a VAR for the upcoming season.

Best league in the world my ***.

Feel like City is going to be a scrappy, young team to watch in the next few years.

Definitely wouldn’t be surprised to see them battle for Top 4 positioning with the other English Giants.

They just seem to have nearly perfect depth in all positions though, and their young players are already super experienced and they add quality each time an older player gets shipped out.

Plus I mean it’s Pep.

Re: 2022-23 English Football Thread

Yeah they're only going to be fighting for the top spot and every major trophy.

They do need to dip back into the transfer market though if they sell Ake since Dias, Laporte, and Stones are all injury prone. Cucurella will be a scary buy for them. Move Cancelo back to the right allowing him to cover Cucrarella at LB and have Walker as cover for RB.

They probably need another winger if they let Sterling go but I guess that depends on how well Alvarez can transition considering he can play as a 9 and out wide.

Wait....Brahv do we get to throw the "Oil Club" banter at them now? lol
