The entire "Premier League experience" argument is so tired when it comes to top players. For example, I'm sure there are several English pundits who'd argue that Thiago had a hard time adjusting to the league. No, I'd say he had to adjust to a new team, which is very understandable.

Thiago also got injured immediately and missed a ton of training, which didn't help. Towards the end of the season he was playing really well.

Just checked the update. Sergi Canos. Now there's a name I had forgotten about. Was at Liverpool for a while. He even made a league appearance under Klopp in his first season when he was playing a bunch of kids while we had the "Either win Europa League or miss Europe" thing going on.
