I saw the rankings. Maybe they are better than the US team. They sure played like it today.

I agree win or lose it doesn't put any money in my pocket. Just sayin' they ain't all that. As far as they went in last year's WC is as far as they can go and without Howard standing on his head they don't even do that.

The defense makes the US a pretty bad team. I don't know where I'd rank the USMNT globally, but they are way way down there.

They're best when they are underdogs (see: the friendlies against Germany/Holland) which is not the mentality you want from a consistently good squad. They are entertaining as hell, but not to be taken seriously.

FIFA rankings are a joke no doubt. But Wales ain't too bad, what with Bale and Aaron Ramsey and Ashley Williams. Pretty darn good talent there in the land of Tom Jones...
