Zenit have offered 40 mil + Bruno Alves (who I'm hearing might turn around and go to Althetico, but thats just talk) and Chelsea have said no to the ridiculous demands from Porto

Most likely:

Sturridge will likely be an impact sub unless Torres' struggles from last 1.5yrs continue. Marin will also be used off the bench, probably for Mata who rarely plays the entire 90. Oscar will spell Lampard and should get some starts to keep Lamps fresh since he's getting up there. Essien & Romeu will get minutes at Mikel's DMF position. Malouda & McEachren are probably the odd men out with Josh potentially going out on loan again, hopefully to a low table squad. Not sure what they will do with Piazon.

Luiz will probably rotate with Cahill depending on the competition but with JT looking to miss time from suspension he could start immediately if the FA punishes JT. We still need another RB and I'd imagine that Betrand will play a lot in the FA, Carling, and the occasional BPL match vs lesser sides.

If #9 can't get going with Mata, Hazard, Marin, and Oscar playing behind him than he's truly useless.
