Josi took a penalty for playing the puck while still in the penalty box. Don't think I've seen that one before.

For anyone who wants to watch abit more hockey before seasons officially over, AHL Calder Cup game 6 happens Tuesday night(TSN2 and NHL Network). Texas vs Toronto. Huge significance because if the Marlies win, it'll be the first Toronto pro hockey championship since the Leafs last cup!


Makes it even better knowing the guy who put together the Marlies team just happens to be the Leafs newly promoted GM.

^That was mentioned in the off-season thread too.




Calder Cup, it's going to game 7 unfortunately. Due to the AHL playoff format, the final 2 games are in the same city. So Marlies have 2 chances to win the cup at home. First one went horribly, so they better bounce back and win it in game 7! They won't get a better chance than this to win.

Because of my anal-retentive nature, it somewhat bothers me that the AHL's season usually ends a few days after the NHL's.
