Well the deal finally got done. There were rumors that it was held off yesterday because of a possible third team jumping in but I guess that was false.

I have to say I don't really know what the Flames are doing here. Could they not have used Jokinen and/or Phaneuf to get a bigger name player like say, making a run at Lecavalier or Kovalchuk?
