I don't see why the second paragraph is lol. Buffalo is a legit team and NE isn't nearly as invincible as their record suggests. If I was NE I'd be worried playing a division rival like Buffalo in the playoffs.

Now Buffalo as title contenders may be a bit of a stretch.

If the intention was to say Buffalo has a shot to beat NE later this season, fine. If it was intended to say Buffalo has a shot to topple NE en route to the Super Bowl (that's the way I read it, when paired with the first paragraph), then lol.

I don't believe anyone but NE or BAL will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

Re: Week 13 Discussion Thread

Thought Duck played well, except for the one telegraphed INT. Defense came up big again, but the team has a different feel when Duck is under center compared to Rudolph.

Week 13 Discussion Thread

Yeah, the familiarity, close game earlier this season, McDermott/Frazier defense seeming to frustrate Brady over the last 5 meetings, and we just smacked the same Dallas team that NE barely edged out.

Still think we need a perfect game to pull the upset. By no means would I be confident in winning it, but it wouldn’t shock me like it probably would a lot of people. The lead up to finally beating them is right there we just gotta, you know, do it. Ha

I’m mostly concerned with getting to 11 wins, I just see the collision course with them coming in to focus. Maybe it comes natural as a Buffalo fan to be a glutton for punishment, but I want to see them should we make the playoffs.

Re: Week 13 Discussion Thread

Also, Saints clinched the South and didn’t even have to play today to do it. With the SF loss, next week is huge in the run for home field advantage through the NFC playoffs.

We'll certainly get a better idea of where Buffalo stands when they get Baltimore.

If they can hang with the Ravens, they belong in the conversation.

On that note, sure it makes for exciting football but the Ravens schedule is brutal as hell.

Re: Week 13 Discussion Thread

Can’t wait to see if we can figure out, or even just contain, Jackson. I kind of fear we’ll sell out to stop Jackson. But then I worry Ingram will dice us up. We’ve been vulnerable to rushing attacks this year. But definitely excited to go head to head against a top dog in the AFC. It’s hard not to like the Ravens and what they’re doing.
