One of those "unwritten rules" things. Respect your opponents, blah, blah..

I have no problem with it. They bring in a big heavy dude and naturally expect a run play. I thought it was genius, and hilarious.

Maybe an axe to grind? Who knows. We're not in their actual world...we only watch from afar. I would think...be ready for anything during the full 60 minutes. In the NHL, when a team is up 8-1, they don't stop shooting at the net.

I think it's easy as a fan of the team that was on the other side of that play to feel wronged but for all we know it could have been run for a very real purpose as a precursor for the playoffs.

They would probably never run that play in a tight game in the playoffs but now if they come out in that formation the defense has to think twice about just assuming a run.

Personally I have no issue with it either nor do I think it was an ax to grind. I think they had already accomplished that if they felt they wanted to.
