The Steelers have place LB Chris Carter on IR with a hamstring injury and signed RB Chad Spann, an undrafted rookie from Northern Illinois, to the active roster to take his spot. He'll give us a bit more depth in RB.

I don't know if it's been mentioned...

But the more I think about the game, the more I lean to the Broncos.

Look @ it... no one is giving them a chance, Steelers have injuries @ 2 key positions on offense, O-line is not very good, and Denver has really nothing to lose here.

IMO, the "nothing to lose" factor is very big as they can pull out all the stops.

I'm still saying Steelers though, for now.

It seems like so many things are lining up for a Denver upset. Clark out, Mendenhall out, Big Ben suffering a setback with his injury, Denver having homefield advantage, God wearing a Tim Tebow jersey, etc, etc.

At the same time though, I just don't see Denver's terrible offense being able to do anything against the Steelers' D. I also don't think a Steelers player is dumb enough to pull a Marion Barber either. So while it is tempting to pick a Denver upset, I just really don't see Tebow or Willis tearing up the Steelers.

I feel sorry for James Harrison because the first time he lays a big hit on Tebow and he doesn't get up, he may become the most hated man in America, non-Athlete included.

With or without the injuries to either of them I think Miller is talented enough, quick enough and strong enough to bring down Ben, with injuries to both of them I think we'll see at least one sack from Von.

Announcers during the Chiefs game pointed out that Tebow comes out and throws like 200 times before the game, said it was something they've never seen before... and then he goes 6/22 anyways.
The biggest difference between the Chiefs pass defense and Steelers pass defense is the way the Chiefs corners play the receivers. Every single Chiefs corner is right up in the receivers. For the Steelers, Ike Taylor does it and occasionally William Gay, but outside of those two its usually at least a 5 or 7 yard cushion. But with Tebow's inaccuracy problems that might actually play to the Steelers' advantage.
