Minnesota has issues. Hell, the whole team is an issue. That was horrible. Seemed like every time I looked at the TV, a FG or a TD was tacked on.

I've got nothing left, Minnesota sports have sucked the life out of me. Timberwolves? Awful. Twins? 100+ million dollars worth of embarrassment. Gophers football? There aren't enough words. The Vikings? LOL.

The crown jewel of Minnesota sports is the WNBA team.

Yup, Minnesota sports are really struggling at the moment.. I feel for ya.

The three sports teams I support are all really good at the moment, so I'm enjoying it while it lasts. That's the thing, it's a pendulum sometimes you're a couple of boneheaded Favre throws away from the Super Bowl, sometimes McNabb is burying your team in the dirt.

Re: Week 6 SNF: Minnesota Vikings (1-4) @ Chicago Bears (2-3)

Everything about this game was perfect. AP got his "opportunities" - 13 of them for 39 yards.

The Bears simply committed early to stopping Adrian Peterson on defense. It worked and McNabb can't win games on his own these days.

On the other side, I am so surprised about the lack of impact the defensive line of the Vikings had on this game. I have to tip my cap to the offensive scheme tonight. They attacked the middle of the field, which has been a weakness of the Vikings D (Pettigrew had 11 catches against them in that area). There was extra protection with the TEs staying in to pass block and chips by the RBs. They gave Cutler just enough time to let the plays develop against the Vikings secondary. Cutler will make those throws if they are there.

When the Vikings could have gotten some momentum, Devin Hester exploded through a seam and that was that.

Final verdict: The Vikings suck.

The hockey team swept Duluth this weekend.
