Re: Moss to the Vikings?

Straight cash, homie.

I would love for this to happen. I would get a Moss Vikings jersey. Favorite NFL player, he is a monster.

Agreed, this would be a huge test of the Organization over The Star modus operandi of the Patriots since Bilichick has been there. If this deal happens it'll be highly interesting to see what happens.

We've seen how an unproven QB can work in that system for a year but said QB had Moss. Not having Moss will force Tom Brady to be more like the QB he was earlier in his career.

I can't understand this trade from the Pats perspective at all.

Re: Moss to the Vikings?

As a Jets fan, I am pumped that my division rival is about to get worse for this season (although in the long run it may be a good move), but am kind of mad the team we are facing next week just improved.

Moss vs. Revis part II? please be healthy Revis!!!!

Also, do the Pats realize that Welker's productivity will drop without Moss. Welker will get Revis, Vontae Davis, and Leodis McKelvin. He won't be tearing up too many teams I don't think if this trade goes down.

Let us AFC East rivals to the Pats not question this move, but support the NE front office in this time of question. This is what's best for the team.

Re: Moss to the Vikings?

I hate this move. The idea that the Pats got a 1st round pick for one year of Seymour and a potentially high pick from Moss is enticing but this is just stupid. Moss still has big play potential, he still draws coverage and the Pats have no deep threat other than him. The short passing game can only get you so far.

Welker is not a #1 receiver. If they lose Moss they lose the ability to stretch the field unless they have somebody I don't know about. I'm also not a huge Pats fan so they may very well.

Edit for clarity: I'm not debating that Welker is a stud, just pointing out that he doesn't bring the things to the table you expect out of a "#1 receiver"...mainly the ability to stretch the field.

Re: Moss to the Vikings?

Holy ****!! Please footballs gods, let this happen.

Favre+Moss+Peterson=Fireworks

But like others have said, I really don't see what the Pats could get out of this that would make it worthwhile. Guess we'll see if it does go down.

I know this isn't going to happen, but I would love it if the Chargers traded Vincent Jackson + a draft pick (or something like that) to the Pats for Moss. I can dream....
