The refs did call a couple of ticky-tac fouls against the Saints for roughing Favre. But they didn't care, they still keep hitting him. The Colts better focus on protecting Manning because I got a feeling they're going to do the same thing.

Manning is great against the blitz. I think he has a 120 qb rating against the blitz this year. I'm not worried about it. I'm sure the Saints D will get after him, but I doubt Manning will be on his *** as much as Favre was.

Being someone from the Gulf Coast that lost everything in Hurricane Katrina, the Saints have been a big part of the healing process when we needed something to root for. So Saints all the way.

That's fine. And your right, he's going to eat you alive when you blitz him. But watching the Saints yesterday, I don't think their philosophy was to sack him. I think they were trying to knock him out of the game. If you give up a TD but at the same time knock Manning out of the game is a victory for the Saints because Curtis Painter is not going to strike fear in the Saints defense. I like it, old school football.

LMAO you have it the other way around. They called a couple BS calls on the Saints because Farve is OLD! They were worried for his physical well being and were trying to protect the Saints from going to jail for murder last night.

He got hit FAIR all game. Meaning they hit him in the context of what the rules state. I mean come on are we playing professional football or flag football??

Brett wasn't getting hit late, he was getting hit as soon as he threw the ball.

Re: Super Bowl XLIV: Indianapolis Colts v. New Orleans Saints

Reasons for me to root for the Saints:
1) I like them better than the Colts
2) It's the first SB they have made.
3) They are the underdog.
4) They used to be the Aints.
5) Brees is a good QB.

Reasons for me to root for the Colts:
1) The NFC leads the AFC 22-21 all-time in the SB and it would be nice to have a tie-breaker next year.
2) Manning is a good QB.

I still have no idea who I'm going to root for, I'll decide midway 1st quarter like I did for the Jets/Colts game this weekend (Jets btw lol).

I predict the Colts win this one 38-28

Re: Super Bowl XLIV: Indianapolis Colts v. New Orleans Saints

As a lifelong Rams fan, I've never been much of a Saints fan. Yesterday, I rooted for them because I wanted Favre to lose.

However, as I watched the game, I sure took notice of how much heart they have. I'll be rooting for the Saints.
