I know he'll never see this, but I want to issue an apology to Mason Rudolph, I never thought he would come in and have the game he did tonight.

I understand the Bengals aren't a defensive powerhouse, but still Mason looked calm,cool and collected. He made throws that Pickett doesn't make, and certainly that Trubisky can't / doesn't make.

The end of the half when Pitt was pinned deep really showed what they have in Rudolph...they came out aggressive and pushed the ball down the field, I guarantee if that was Trubisky or Pickett, Tomlin runs the ball to get to the half.

The fact is, of the 3 QB's the Steelers have, Rudolph has the bigger arm and can actually push the ball downfield.

I know I had said the Steelers have the 3 worst QB's in the league, but Rudolph really showed a lot tonight, so much so in fact Trubisky needs to go after the season, and as far as Pickett goes? I believe Tomlin needs to continue with Rudolph at this point.

I understand they were 7-4 when Pickett went down, but nothing more needs to be said than the output of tonights offense was their best since 2020? I think was said?

There's still obvious issues...Cole still snaps the ball in the dirt and is a damn turn style, the oline as a whole still can't pass protect..Levi Wallace can't cover a cold he's constantly getting beat.

Also Peterson needs to move to safety full time, as he is just too slow to cover these speedsters on the outside.

Was out doing things for most of the game, saw the last quarter. Man Pickens was on fire. Rudolph stepped up. Team is so fluky.
