Re: Week 2 Discussion Thread

2-0, but ugly offense so far. They really have benefited from Pats and Vikings turnovers. Defensively, they have held up well, but Hurts has looked indecisive and has been making bad decisions. Hurts has been playing ultra conservative. Like I said, he's avoiding all hits, he's taking bad sacks. He'd run out of bounds behind the line or falling behind the line instead of throwing it away.

Early, but they're missing Shane Steichen. It feels like Brian Johnson is still figuring it out and the trust isn't there yet between the two yet. This mini-bye couldn't come any sooner. Regardless, they need to stick with the run. Eagles have a ton of injuries. Two RBs, both LBs, 2nd and 3rd CB, and Safety are hurt. Luckily they have 10 days to recover before next game

Re: Week 2 Discussion Thread

Injury bug was gonna catch up to the Eagles after how fortunate they were last year.

Loved to see Swift get so much run and the Eagles for recognizing some stuff with Hurts wasn’t working. I expect this offense to continue to adapt as they figure out what parts of their offense remain successful and what needs to be tweaked. I could see a similar Steichen to Johnson fall off as what the Bills went through last year with Daboll to Dorsey. Still a good, effective offense but just not money like it was under the old OC.

Tough start for the Vikes. Ugly turnover numbers. Used up all their good fortune last year and the pendulum is swinging back hard.

Re: Week 2 Discussion Thread

I bought a bag of frozen French fries and a bag of frozen sweet potato fries that I'm going to feed my deep fryer with on Sunday afternoon.

I'm also going to be making the best fry sauce in the world to go with 'em (mix a little ketchup, a few dollops of mayonnaise and a bunch of curry powder together -- voila! Flavor bomb!)

How does this relate to the NFL????

Why, every Rams fan needs a good carb crash to deal with the aggravation that is watching your team play against the freakin' 49ers in the regular season these days. I mean, the NFC title game is a totally different story, of course, but that squad is lookin' skeery (means scary in southwest Virginia slang) after week 1.

I **** with the Bears orange jerseys. The blues are classics, but I like the pop. Yeah, we’re not sure if it’s the Broncos, Browns or Bengals but it’s delightful.
