Rumored compensation from The Athletic:
The Saints and Broncos are discussing a package that includes a first-round pick in 2023 and a second-round pick in 2024 going to New Orleans with a 2024 third-round pick headed back to Denver.

Fangio to Miami apparently isn't a done deal. The 49ers are expected to talk with him about replacing Ryans.

Edit: Rapoport saying the Broncos wanted Ryans and finalized with Payton only after Ryans signed with Houston.

Interesting. All signs were pointing to Payton sitting out a year.

Most local beats (and Shefty) are reporting this is false and the Broncos shifted to Payton over the weekend when it was clear Ryans was headed to his dream job. (I would have preferred Ryans myself)



Whoa, and now this:

"According to KOA’s Dave Logan, the Denver Broncos are in talks, along with the Miami Dolphins, with former Broncos head coach Vic Fangio for their defensive coordinator position."

Fangio and Payton have been tied together previously as a duo that would come out of this together but would he come to Denver? And do the Broncos really want to move on from Eviro??? (I guess they may not have a say in that though)

Couldn't be more excited to have DeMeco back. It's time to purge the cancer and subsequent effects of the last 9 years of the O'Brien Tyranny.

Time to rebuild my love for this team, league, and sport.

Texans got the best candidate on the market who happens to be a historical star for the franchise and we have two top 12 picks and a **** ton of cap room.
