Damn, two years ago he was one of the flavor of the year OCs that looked like he’d get a Head Coaching gig. Life comes at you quick

I think a high school band director would be an upgrade over Canada, but that's just me.

And back then, folks credited Brady for that.

Now because they’ve struggled, it’s Leftwich’s fault. And I know that’s how it usually works in the profession, but still a tad bit funny to me.

Whatever helps Kenny imho.

I'm wondering if he was really fired or if he asked to leave or agreed to be the one to leave.

He may have overplayed his hand last year with the Jags even though it was probably correct to demand the GM be fired.

At this point Leftwich knows that team will suck next year and there is no way Brady comes back and even if he did they would still be terrible. HC is getting fired in 1-2 years. By leaving, Leftwich gets out in front of it and doesn't waste 1-2 more years and the have to start over.

If Leftwich finds a good spot and is truly as good of a coach as some people say, he will be back as a HC candidate in 1-2 years.
