Nah. Heart tells me Cavs, head tells me GS but neither one will sweep the other.

Other than the Spurs GSW seems like the next best option to be able defend Lebron or make it tough on him. Tristian will be the key for the Cavs. and who does Cle hide Kyrie on this series. He's not a good defender when he's 100% healthy so it's easier to do that against ATL than against GSW.

also I know Cle Defense is so much better but based on the offenses they have played it's hard to trust that so it will be interesting how their D matches up against this ball movement and this offense.

Before the ATL series I would of said GSW in 5. Nothing really changed my mind but Lebron factor GSW in 6 seems wise.

Guys... I'm a little worried about Klay and Curry head knocks. Curry didn't look like himself.

And how do you guys feel about the long break? Remember there use to me so many complains about teams going cold from the field because of such a long break.

The break is needed and well deserved. Both teams took care of business to get to the finals. Now let them rest up and be as healthy as possible against once another.

Also another random stat, since 1980, only Pat Riley and Paul Westhead have won the title in their rookie season, so they're about to be joined by Blatt or Kerr. Paul Westhead is an odd story though. Dude gets fired in favor of Pat Riley even though he won a title, gets fired from Chicago, goes to college, comes back to the NBA in 1991 and coaches the worst defense of all time (Nuggets gave up 130.8 PPG, ROFL), eventually ends up in the WNBA and wins a title, and then ended up coaching Oregon women's bball. Pretty crazy to go from NBA champion as a rookie to ending up as a losing coach in Women's college basketball.

I just hope the Warriors don't look like OKC in the Finals, as in, the most talented team but without the maturity and experience to pull it out.

They have a better coach than OKC had though...

I think Cavs in 6, I think the Warriors will have a hard time limiting the Cavs from beasting on the boards. I also think Lebron won't have an issue with any of the defenders that the Warriors throw at him. Hiding Irving on defense will be an issue, but I'm hoping Delly, Shump and Smith can slow the Splash Bros down.

I don't think anyone GSW has can check Lebron, it's just of matter of throwing fresh capable defenders at him and seeing how long he can continue to shoulder the load as a facilitator. I def agree with you about the boards and Delly/Shump, don't know about JR. If he hits a few early shots he tends to give more effort on D.

I wonder if we'll see more of David Lee this series although Ezeli's energy was a huge plus last night for the Dubbs.

Re: The Finals 2015: Golden St. Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Problem is Cleveland plays exactly how Golden State is going to want to play.

Cleveland is not going to be able to beat the Warriors in the half court for 7 games. Just isn't going to happen. Especially without Love and Mozgov isn't a guy you can dump it down to 25 times a game. Memphis had the blue print, just didn't have the shooters.

And I hope people really aren't taking the bait regarding rebounding, and thinking that this will be an issue for GS. Atlanta was one of the worst rebounding teams in the league this year. Golden State was one of the best. They aren't going to have that significant of an advantage again.
