Was pretty close to Brunson starting his shot, but he definitely wasn’t in an upward motion yet, and waaayyy before the shot actually went up.

The way they explained it I guess it must’ve been shooting motion but like you said he really hadn’t started his shot at that point. Needed the win, I’ll take it.

That Hartenstein sequence changed the game.

The “big 3” all had big games and definitely randles best playoff showing. Hart was hart near triple double and while he looked scared to shoot for 3 quarters hit 2 of the bigger shots of the game down the stretch.

Obviously a lot to figure out between now and Saturday. Way too many breakdowns defensively and long scoring droughts against the zone offensively.

Go Knicks. Way to get the win while Butler was out. Gotta win those ones, especially at home. They did the opposite of Boston yesterday.

"After winning MVP last night, during a quick 76ers celebration, Joel Embiid turned to the team and said: “I’m back.”

Embiid is indeed on track to return tonight in Game 2 vs. Celtics barring setbacks, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium."

I think that's the thing about the zone. Once you've shown your cards. Theres is no going back. There is no surprise factor. They kept attacking it and getting good looks. You can only use it as a change of pace. But it won't last long. Knicks did a great job of swing it was side after penetration.

I honestly think this is a year that everything can work out for Embiid and finally the process can end! It is to be seen how they play this series.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread

Embiid is officially playing.

As long as he's as good as he can be with this injury, I'm good with it. Just don't want to see a hobbled Embiid. He's a ball stopper and already slows down the pace, so him being hobbled isn't going to help. But, he does need the conditioning being off almost 2 weeks

This is a scenario where Harden and Maxey needs to maintain bigger roles on offense and allow Embiid to play mainly as gravity attractor and within flow of game
