The Cubs do not win that game without the extra-inning circus. But I still hate it.

I know it was a 2 run HR and the bonus runner wasn't the margin of victory, but Baez loves his clutch moments. The free runner got them feeling like they actually had a chance to do something.

That's a pretty large jump in logic. Both teams get the extra runner. I don't see why people keep discounting the outcomes in extra innings

Who knows if he will resign or not, I won't really be surprised either way. Makes perfect sense for him to want to return back to California. Makes perfect sense for him to want to stay in Atlanta his entire career. Could go either way.

Cubs don’t win if the cardinals can push across one run in the 7th with bases loaded and no one out, although Sosa was out at 3rd.

Top of the lineup in that situation and you don’t get one run. Embarrassing

So disappointed today. They battled back from a horrible 1st inning only to implode (again) in extras.

Bullpen has been overworked and definitely needs some reinforcement.
