To be fair, I always expect them to be bad...

Outside of the two Chicago unis, even the ones I like aesthetically, I tend to not like overall because they pay little mind to the team's identity...

I understand that's part of the point...I guess...but meh

This is Jays first game in San Diego since 2013?

I guess same probably will be applying to all these NL West matchups as we've seen already for them both home and on the road.

Last Jays game in San Diego, Edinson Vólquez started for the Padres. Ramon Ortiz started for the Jays in his final game in the majors.

After watching the first inning last night it looked like Yamamoto was going to throw a complete game with 20 Ks on less than 100 pitches. His curve was unhittable. glad the Mets could jump on some fastballs. Hopefully the Alvarez injury isn't serious but I'm not feeling too optimistic about that.
