Re: 8/28 - 9/10 Game Discussion Thread

We've reached 3000SB in the MLB so far this season.

The most since 2012.

This is on pace for the highest SB average since 1997, which if you want to feel old, happened before the SB leader Acuna Jr or anyone else in the top 5 SB was even born.

Re: 8/28 - 9/10 Game Discussion Thread

Jays pick up another win, by the end of the night they could be tied for the 2nd WC while being 2.5 up on the Rangers!

Or they could be half a game back if Mariners win but Astros lose (which drops Astros out of ALW lead and back into the WC)

Too bad MLB wasn't like the NBA where division winners aren't guaranteed playoffs. Twins wouldn't even make it. Sooner or later owners will probably have something to say about this format.

Having a season where the best non playoff team is better than the worst division winner, and having a WC matchup where the worse team gets home field, and possibly teams in BOTH leagues being better than a division winner too? And this isn't the first time this has happened recently. Doesn't seem like a good look.

Dang it!! I can't take the Rangers anymore!! Score 2 bottom 6 then give it right back top 7. I've lost count how many times this has happened the last 3 weeks.

Football may be the order of the day, but this Brewers-Yankees game is a wild one.

Yankees pull it out in the 13th after being no-hit for over 10 innings.
