9 in a row boys. Let's keep on embarrassing ourselves. At least they called up Pereira. And we can see what he can do going forward.

I'm excited to see what Kerry Carpenter can do as the Tigers full time DH next year. He's been a hidden gem with the bat, but god awful as a fielder, they have to put him out there while Big Mig is still around. Always love when these nothing burger prospects force their way to the big club and actually produce when they get there

Pretty fun atmosphere at Citi Field, Japanese heritage night and they’ve got Senga on the mound vs Ohtani and the Angels

Cool end to the Tigers game against the Astros, Valdez had another no-no going, but his pitch count was so high (Parker Meadows really worked him, drew a couple walks), bullpen came in and Kerry Carpenter broke it up. Then in the bottom of the 9th Meadows launched a no doubter to win, his first career HR, family in attendance crying, great scene

Future Met Ohtani getting acclimated to Citi Field, already has a double and triple and it’s the second inning

Re: 8/14 - 8/27 Game Discussion Thread

As amazing as the Braves have been this year, they would have to go 32-2 (not happening) the rest of the way just to match the 2001 Mariners. Really puts into perspective how good of a season the 2001 Mariners and even the 1998 Yanks had. That is just consistently winning over 162 games without ever slumping.
