According to Jomboy, this is the first time in 31 years (8-23-92) the Yankees have been tied for last this late into the season.

Also, apparently tonight's Sox-Cubs game at Wrigley was just the 12th Friday night game at Wrigley EVER.

Blame Brian Cashman for constructing such a poor roster, overloaded with right handed bats in a stadium built for lefties.

I hear you to a degree. But it's the injury to Aaron Judge. That's the problem. This team is probably atop the Wildcard right now if he's healthy.

But that's also the problem. The whole damn team is dependent on him and a healthy locked in Stanton. And the long ball which ultimately fails against a great team in the playoffs.

The other veteran players need a kick in the ***. They need to pick up a few decent left hand bats. Make a big splash. DFA Donaldson and just not play D.J. at all.

Those guys have had their chance and they have failed miserably.

Vladdy fouls off a ball so hard it knocked the catchers AND umps masks off!

Now there's a delay in the game as the Velcro for the pitch com has come off, they fixed it using double sided tape. Now that's something you don't see every day.
