The Tennis Career of James Taylor

Time for something completely different. I have this old game called Smash Court Pro Tournament 2. It's for the PS2 and has a pretty legit career mode. I decided to chronicle my player's career here on OS and have some write-ups and stuff.

House Rules

1) I'm only entering tournaments that I can qualify for. So don't expect to see me in the U.S. Open or any other major anytime soon.

2) I'm playing on mission mode. It's a little harder than normal mode and the scores are realistic because the games I don't play in the match are simulated. Example I get 6-3,6-3,6-3 scores instead of a 2-1 score.

Feb. 10th, 2009

I sat down in my room and looked around. This was my real home, full of memories and good times. I was still jetlagged from my flight and was ready to go to sleep, but the thought of what I could do with my money kept me awake. I earned $15,000 in my first pro tournament and would only earn more as I progressed and got better.

I rolled over and tried to fall asleep, as I started to drift away my phone went off. I rolled over and saw it was a text message from Steph, she wanted me to give her some tennis tips now I was a professional. I guess I'm not going to get any sleep now. I grabbed my keys to my 1996 Ford Explorer and headed out the door.
