We are doing a bonus match tonight as we experiment with something new. So this means cut me some slack as it's not my specialty. That match is a 10 man royal rumble where the winner will be the Intercontinental champ. I tried my hand at doing some light commentary and turned down the in game sounds. I'll be controlling Honkytonk Man with a random draft order

Final Thoughts
We went a cheaper show since it was in a small venue for week 1. They went with a more expensive show, so we liked the $ we gained on them. Considering their last 2 matches were rated a lot higher just losing 6k fans wasn't that bad. The most disappoint thing is only 1 rivalry started so some pressure is on next week to get feuds started.

Haku could be a deadly IC champ

This is a really good verson of him as he has the islander's attire as the main and then King Haku for the 2nd. He does a lot of the kicks and stuff as well and the last elimination in the rumble caught me off guard.

I'm going to try and get him in a feud to get on the PPV ideally against the Honkytonk Man. My plan is to build his popularity up for a few months on singles. Then sign Tama who should be cheap and join the tag team race. I'll prob run them to back and see if his big jump up in popularity last month was a fluke.

Notes
They have signed a Legend as Kevin Nash did a run in (road warrior animal) in the opening match so that's why the rating was so high. I hadn't unlocked all the legends in game so was unable to set him too inactive.

Adonis is now good at tables matches. So will try and get that into this or next month's PPV.

For not booking Andre this week I got a health 3 card

Macho Man wants a match with Orndoff so a easy one to grant

Final Thoughts
They destroyed us in match quality this week. We didn't have a single match that was even in a rivalry so we exected this. We did a conservative card, and they had their champion in an extreme rules match. The big thing was they had a legend do the run in which is why you see their $ down compared to last week. We went from 1 rivalry to 5 so we are expecting better results in week 3.

Before we get into the details let's look at the top targets list.

As we go into week 3 we have $99,000 we could spend. We haven't brought in any new talent as we like our roster and guys are starting to get more popular. We targeted guys with high stamina so that's not an issue now, but will be more of a factor soon. However they are some holes on the roster the mid card division is very deep. The holes are 1 more main event level guy then you need 2 more tag teams. The tag team is the biggest need so stretching the current tag rivalry into two months would be ideal.

Hulk Hogan is obviously the top target to fix the main event issue. He has been away filming "no holds barred", but that is starting to wrap up. He is available to sign now, but only for 5 weeks. Jack Tunney wants to sign guys to permanent deals, but it might not be worth the risk to let him pass. If the competition signs him up, then you may never get him back. One thing of note on Hogan despite having elite popularity his mic skills are only 2 of 5.

Smash of Demolition is a name we would love to get since he also has 5 mic skills. His partner isn't available at this time and we currently can't afford him. We would love to have JYD, but right now the mid card is full and we have bigger needs.

They are 2 dirt cheap options available on trial runs. That is Corporal Kirchner and Brooklyn Brawler. They have only 1 star power and right now we don't have a stamina issue. Brooklyn Brawler does have 4/5 mic skills. These are likely names we revisit down the road we need someone to fill in for a few weeks.

The other way the budget could go is logistics. We spent some $ last week upgrading stuff likes arenas, advertising and lights. We are leaning toward passing on signing anyone this week and using some $ on logistics. Then we can revisit the roster after the PPV when hopefully we have a lot more to spend.
