Playstation Now and 2K?

I was just watching my brother play on the PSN Beta and thought what if 2K made a return via this platform? If 2K turned the servers back on for rosters and such this would fill my need for a truly sim football game. Bringing back 2K5 would suit me the most, as I have 2K8, but with roster customization restraints it is very limited on what you and and can't do.

Does anyone think this could be possible from 2K's PoV? Could this satisfy our hunger for football on the next-gen consoles?

Can't, 2k doesn't have the NFL licence

Wouldn't really apply to this, because PSN is for past games. It's not like they would be releasing a new game.

It does matter very much. They would need a license to bring even their own old game to this service without removing all real players and trademarks. They simply cannot use NFL trademarks anymore in any fashion.

Nothing to do with 2k or the NFL, this is copyright 101. This is why you won't see NCAA 14 either.
