Things maybe only possibe in power pros/2022 pennant mode (franchise mode)

For people who don't know in pennant you can:
1. you can set special day (max 14/ a year) which include retirement ceremony, children day,(scoreboard has player name in hiragana/katakana), firework day, day when 2 team wear special uniform or uniform with the same number (for ex all 99)
2. You can retire or unretire the number you want
and you can even put your name into it))
3. You can change the award evaluation to what you like. You hate a pitcher win mvp turn era or k number to min and put home runs to max, want to see a reliever win mvp turn save number to max and everything else to min. And you can do it with rookie of the year, mvp of the month, sawamura(cy young),...
4. You can turn retired or current player into head coach, hitting/pitching coach, or scout/ international scout.
5. you can play a fiction international tournament like wbc called wcb (unfortunately not the same format)
6. You can recruit jp player aboard /mlb when they decide to return to jp (they even have their mlb stats)
7. you can lock HoF players (they won't be removed) and the profile actually show which teams they played for, their awards, their specific record unlike the show franchise.

8. And you can export "All the teams at the end of Every season". For example you can sim 16/10seasons then export every nippon series winners and put them in pennant to see which team is the best (max 16 custom teams). Such a ridiculous thing which you can not do in the show or other modern sport games

I miss MLB Power Pros and would buy it in a second if it every came back around to the US. Most fun I ever had playing a baseball game.

Yeah it is just crazy that this arcade looking franchise is mile ahead of the show in term of franchise feature.In single player mode this game already beat the show & smb3 very easily. I think if this game release in english at 60$ no sport game will ever come close to it in term of single player contents. when you have a single player sport game whose most popular mode is not franchise & player career you know this game is in its own tier. And the most surprised thing is they add so many features and modes that if you have pawapuro 2012, the only mode worth playing is success.
I honestly can wait to see if konami can outdo themselves by inventing the 4th mode to combine with success, eikan 9, pawafes while continue improving pennant and my life (tbh my life is already the best player career mode).
Edit;So many little features they have add since 2012 are from old school sport game.
The ability to set music in every mode come from pes ps2. The shop which you can unlock ob players, stadiums, coach, and more than 300 characters and items to use in success, pawafes, my life franchise,...
The only thing lacking in this game is logo creating. Maybe konami don't want some funny looking logo due to players can upload team. No microtransaction and the only thing you need to pay is song or you can create it your self.If they add the logo creator from pes 6...

Maybe not exclusive to this game but you can check important award every years with candidates and votes (in the show they only have the winner and its only 3 years). They at least let you check the score from playoff (not stats) and the fmvp. Pawapuro even have a best line up for every season which you can check active players(some simple stats but also have allstar selection, golden gloves, best nine,mvp
... ) in that years who maybe retired and and have theirs data deleted. for ex you can see the giants lineup every year from 2022 to 2052 together all start selection and post season result. So you can check which team won npb, fmvp, his stats and other awards and other teams achievements in 2043 season while you are playing 2049 season
The international tournament have fake team but you can edit all the team jerseys.
They have lock on feature which prevent player from getting sending down to the farm team even if that player is in poor form or injured.
You don't have draft class creator but you can let players from your created player list joining the draft.

9. Training. Training in power pros pennant is not simple like franchise in the show. You can train player by choosing what you want your player to work on ex pitcher (velocity, control, breaking ball sharpness, new speed...) hitter (contract, power, fielding,throwing...). The thing is you have to invest to the equipments which will be use for training. The equipment also have level so it mean that if you pay big amount of money to upgrade power equipment to level 5 your player who focus on power will get their stats raise faster. And they will become worse over time so you have to invest widely.(ex lv5 equipment reduce to lv4 after a period of time)
The 2nd thing is player in pawapuro has special ability (perk). You can have your players train together to learn the special ability from players who have it. Or they can get from a coach who can teach the ability you want. It make you have to think carefully about what coach you want to hire, what player you want to trade for (you want that player to teach your young players their ability or let your veteran players teach him their ability)
You can also let your player go to aboard to work on their craft. Ex go to america will help pitcher gain velocity and batter gain speed.

You can have players learning new position in power pros through training, pitcher & position player. You can use your starting pitcher as relief if his late game stats is good enough. Same with position players.
you have more freedom to train players. For ex An outfielder with good arm but can only play left, you can have him learning right and central fielder position. The training system in this game is way deeper than the show tbh

And one more thing is this game have no microtransaction, no feature locked to online like the show (rtts, franchise), nba2k (my career)... makes it very unique when comparing to other sport games nowadays.
