Still being able to hang out/talk to my grandparents

A warm, sunny day of golf.

The smell of freshly resurfaced ice at a hockey rink.

Good beer.

A cool, sunny day of snowboarding.

A nice, full prime rib dinner.

Seeing your favorite team win a Championship.

Watching a thunderstorm over Lake Superior.

Sitting outside on the deck or around the fire with a friend or a group and just bull****ting over a couple drinks.

Finishing a crossword puzzle.

And never underestimate just sitting down for 10 minutes, clearing your mind, and just doing nothing. Absolutely nothing but relax and unwind.

Hearing my son say my name. "Daddy, hi daddy, daaaaaaddy..."

Just being with my son. If I go somewhere other than work, I want to take him with me. I love spending time with him.

Playing The Show...

Mowing the lawn...

Drinking an ice cold beer on a hot summer day.

Being at a baseball game...

Hearing my baby's heartbeat (wife is 18 weeks pregnant)...

Making my wife genuinely laugh. Belly laughs are the best.

Hitting a three, or scoring on an opponent when it's just him and I in the paint. Blocking a shot. Connecting with the ball on the sweet spot of a bat. Not much feels better than that. Throwing a perfect spiral.

...and on and on.

Not to be too sappy, but life is a damn beautiful thing. Sadly, time moves quick nowadays, but stopping and cherishing it is what matters most.
