To get it to work I has to start it in OOTP 13 and import into 14. They may have fixed it for 14 now though.

I'm pretty sure (don't quote me on this though) that the overall and potential numbers have to do with the weights given to how the AI evaluates players.

I think the default values are at 65% ratings, 20% current year stats, 10% year before stats and 5% 2 years before stats.

Stupid me I uploaded wrong pics. Those are the 2013 stats.

I fixed it now.

Hitting 2014

Pitching 2014

Of note in his first full year in the Majors Billy Hamilton swiped 104 Bases.

Also glad to see guy I sent Ludwick and Broxton away for was 4th in Ks and 1st in K/9

104 bases? Awesome! I wonder if we will ever see 100 bases stolen in a season again?

My team has an ERA of 5.01 lol, yet I'm at 78-67 and tied for 1st in the wildcard standings with the Nats. I'm already 10 games behind SF so division is out of reach. My pitching is just awful from starting pitching to my closer.

Know the feeling. I picked up Ubaldo Jiminez last offseason as a Free Agent. I didn't pay him a ton of money, but needed a spot filled from Arroyo.

His ratings seemed decent, and that was about all that was decent. He was rough to say the least. Worst decision of my General Manager Career so far.

Is OOTP not providing a demo for those of us still on the fence?

Yea, my rotation was a mess. Should have called up Chatwood earlier, he was great for me. 4-1 2.61ERA in 6 starts late in the year, and most importantly saved my bullpen.

Probably sometime in June.

Finished the year 84-78, missed the playoffs by 1 game. St.Louis, Pittsburgh and Cinci finished 85-77 for 3 way tie for the 2nd wildcard spot. That sounds fun for them.
