Mafia Trilogy (Mafia 1,2, and 3 Remastered)

it appears like mafia 3 will be a free upgrade if you have the game and you download the improvements in the store. Since it was free on PS+ a few months back a lot of people should have it.

I've seen reports back and forth, but I can confirm you get the upgraded editions for both Mafia II and III if you already have them on Steam. I have no idea about the original game, though, as I have it on CD, not through a digital library.

What improvements? I thought it was just the extra content that was realeased.

2 is one of my all time favorites and I even enjoyed part 3.

I never played the 1st one so I'm pretty stoked about this remake. I'll be getting it day one for sure.

In the process of downloading Mafia 3. My only plan is to finish up the free roam content like collecting magazines & doing the "Sign of the Times" DLC since that's the only one I haven't done. Won't worry about the regular story until they release the game on next gen.

As a sidenote: I hope they somewhat continue the story of Lincoln in Mafia 4 because I personally want a better story based on the black mafia. Would be nice for them to add some elements of the Godfather 2 video game where you can control different rackets. Also bring back realistic things like putting gas in your vehicle.

Never played the original games... Started playing 2, got up to Chapter 3. Really liking it so far but im wondering if i should hold off on it all until the Mafia 1 remake is released and then play them chronologically.
