I agree 100%.

It's not a lazy thing, it's that I was paying $4.99 for a single 3 day new release blu ray rental, and I could get $9.99 unlimited blu-rays per month with Netflix.

It's a cost thing really. That and I kind of despise blockbuster for the way they do things.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably decide between MLB2k9, Riddick, Wanted, or wait and see about X-Men if they don't close by then. I'll have to play some demo's this weekend.

Brick and mortar "video stores" will soon be a thing of the past. In two years Blockbuster and Movie Gallery will be gone and the stores that survive will have turned completely into GameRush or GameZone stores.

I work at a Movie Gallery and I've seen the writing on the wall for a while now. Cash in your credit while you can guys.

Yeah, I agree that major B&M video stores are quickly going downhill and soon will be gone. I think that mom and pop video stores will still be around forever, but the internet rentals will continue to dominate.

Damn, didn't we just have a thread a week or so ago about people switching from Netflix over to Blockbusters rental service? Haha, the irony...
