So it seems like it's working, but only for ps2 and Xbox.

I can even open the GameCube roster file with it, but some players are missing etc.

We need someone that make this editor working for a GameCube version of rosters, so we can play this with updated graphics and resolutions on PCs. Even potato PCs can handle it and it's pretty awesome.

DM me the installer copy, the news it doesn't work with GameCube doesn't hurt me that bad because I was only intending to make rosters for PS2/Xbox anyway.

It turns out there did exist an editor made by FlyingFinn that worked with NHL 2K3 and NHL 2K4. I am absolutely gutted stuff like this was lost over time. It puts a damper on chances we could keep 2K4 alive... on a more positive note, with 2K3's editor seemingly back in our hands (whenever DJ NEO decides to send it to me :P) we have 4/6 of Finn's sports game editors (NHL 2K3, NFL 2K5, NHL 2K5, NBA 2K6) with only NHL 2K4 and 2K6's editors still being lost. The link mentions the installer asking whether to install 2K3 or 2K4. You guys sure it only does 2K3?

This editor is actually for both 2k3 and 2k4.

Out of curiosity, why is not allowed to post a link with such a cool editor officially on the forums, so everyone can enjoy it?

I remember years ago -- maybe 2010, 2011? -- finding an email address for him and trying to reach out to see if I could get him to share any software he might still have. I remember thinking at the time, "it's been 5 years, no way he's still around". With no social media, when you lost track of someone online back then they were pretty much gone. That led me through some still active but out of use sites at the time reaching out to others who had been on sites back in 2005 and I found one guy whose name I don't recall on the EA Hockey forums. We chatted there but despite digging through different backup DVDs he never found all the NHL2K content from a specific site we both frequented. Lesson learned. I now save everything from any sports game because time has taught me that I can never know what game I'm gonna wish I had software/mods for in the future.
